RBaby Walk

May 11, 2009

Sunday morning – bright and early and chilly – the boy and I had the opportunity to join one of my most amazing friend’s in Central Park for a the RBaby Run/Walk.

This isn’t an organization I’d ever heard of prior to signing up, but they’re really quite incredible. R Baby Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that newborn babies – primarily those in the first month of life – suffering from viral infections and other infectious diseases, receive the highest quality of care and service through supporting education, research, treatment, training and life-saving equipment.

1000s of people were at the Park and after a deluge of rain/thunder/humidity/crappiness over the last week all over the east coast, Sunday was one of those picture-perfect-except-there’s-no-frickin-way-it’s-not-photoshopped-because-there’s-no-way-it’s-that-damn-perfect days. And yes, it was really that perfect.
